FAQ

We cannot log in to the journal system; what should we do?

Please be careful when typing your username and password.

When entering your password, please make sure that the Caps Lock light on the keyboard is off and that the language in the Language bar is set to English.

Preferably, copy your username and password from the email and paste them into the login page of the system.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please send an email to the journal office.

How long does the peer review and evaluation process for a paper typically take?

Providing a precise timeline is challenging, as it depends on multiple variables. For instance, the quality of the manuscript's writing and preparation significantly impacts the evaluation. Consequently, the review duration will vary based on the time the reviewers require. Nonetheless, every effort is made to conclude this process within a maximum of four months.

What types of articles are accepted by this journal?

This quarterly journal accepts original research articles and review articles. The most essential and primary criterion for acceptance is the high quality of the manuscript and its relevance to the journal's thematic scope.

What is the required article structure for submission to this journal?

Please visit the system's main page and review the "Author Guidelines" section.

When are the peer-review results announced?

Following the receipt of reviewers' comments, every effort is made to complete the process within a maximum of four months.

How can we follow up on the review result?

You can track the review results via the submission system on your dedicated author page.

How do I track the status of my submitted manuscript?

You can track it via the system on your dedicated author page.

How can I submit a manuscript to the journal?

To submit a manuscript, first register on the journal's submission system and then upload your paper. Please note that you should review the "Author Guidelines" before submission and prepare your manuscript according to their specifications.

How can I contact the journal's editors and staff, and where can I ask my other questions?

First, go to the "Journal Information" section on the main page of the system and review the "Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)" section. If you do not find your question and its answer there, you can submit your question through the system. Alternatively, in case of very urgent matters, you can contact the journal's office.

What could be the reason for not receiving an email or confirmation message after manuscript submission?

An email confirmation will not be sent if you have not completed the entire manuscript submission process. Please ensure all registration and submission steps are finalized. Additionally, a system interruption may have occurred during submission; in this case, please contact the journal's office directly.

How can I get in touch with the journal?

The simplest method is to send an email. A phone number is also listed in the "Contact Us" section. You can send a text message to this number or call during official business hours, excluding public holidays.

Am I allowed to translate and submit a manuscript, which I have previously published in English, to this Persian-language journal? I have made some minor modifications to it as well.

The answer is no. The manuscript must not have been previously published, either in its entirety or in part. The article should present new research findings.

Should figures and tables be placed separately from the main text during submission? Is it required to upload them as separate files?

Figures and tables must be embedded within the text, close to their corresponding citations, as per the provided template. Submitting them as separate files is not required.

Is it required to anonymize the manuscript by removing author names before it is sent for peer review?

Yes. The peer review process is double-blind, meaning author information is hidden from reviewers. Therefore, author details must be submitted separately from the main manuscript file.

I submitted a co-authored manuscript (with other authors) to the system. Initially, I could see the file in my account. Now that the peer-review process appears to have begun, the manuscript is no longer visible in my account. What happened?

If you are not the designated corresponding author, you will not have access to view the manuscript or its status during the peer-review process. Only the corresponding author's account will display this information.
