The semi-annual journal of Engineering Management and Soft Computing is a scientific journal of the industrial engineering department at the University of Qom and is published bi-annual in Persian (with English abstracts), according to the decree No.92/31449 approved by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance on January 28, 2014. According to the high amount of submitted papers, it is hoped that in the near future, it can be published regularly as a quarterly in English.

The journal of Engineering Management and Soft Computing aims to reflect the results of scientific studies and research in the fields of industrial engineering and soft computing (fuzzy logic, artificial intelligence, and machine learning methods, meta-heuristic algorithms, etc.). After being judged by a specialist referee, if qualified, the submitted papers will be published by the editorial board.

It should be noted that the initial coordination for getting scientific research permits and being indexed in Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) and the Scopus citation database has been done. Additionally, the whole faculty members and the staff of the University of Qom are doing their best so that the journal enters the ranking and becomes indexed in top international scientific databases. Obviously, in the case the journal receives a rank or is indexed in a reputable database, all previously published papers will benefit accordingly.
